Chers artistes,

 

Nous tenons à exprimer notre sincère gratitude à tous les participants pour leur engagement et leur créativité. Cette année, nous avons reçu un grand nombre de soumissions de la part d'artistes talentueux du monde entier. Chaque œuvre témoigne de la diversité et de l'originalité dans le domaine de l'art sonore et audiovisuel. Bien que nous aurions souhaité exposer toutes les propositions, les contraintes d'espace et de temps nous obligent à effectuer une sélection.

Ainsi, les œuvres des artistes dont les noms figurent ci-dessous seront présentées dans le hall du Conservatoire du Grand Chalon (Chalon-sur-Saône, France) lors du Festival Ondes Croisées 2024, qui se tiendra du 7 au 9 novembre. Nous serons heureux de pouvoir partager ce moment avec vous.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants for their commitment and creativity. This year, we received a large number of submissions from talented artists around the world. Each work reflects the diversity and originality in the field of sound and audiovisual art. Although we would have liked to exhibit all the proposals, space and time constraints require us to make a selection.

Thus, the works of the artists whose names appear below will be presented in the hall of the Conservatoire du Grand Chalon (Chalon-sur-Saône, France) during the Ondes Croisées Festival 2024, which will take place from November 7 to 9. We are delighted to share this moment with you.

Le Festival Ondes Croisée 2024 se tiendra du 7 au 9 novembre au Conservatoire du Grand Chalon et à LaPéniche, à Chalon-Sur-Saône. Ce festival met à l'honneur la diversité des musiques électroacoustiques et de l’art sonore qui se déploieront autour de l'Acousmonium (orchestre de haut-parleurs), et proposera une programmation variée : musique acousmatique, musique mixte, ciné-concerts, live improvisation et musique électronique. Dans ce cadre nous proposerons un espace où des œuvres audiovisuelles pourront être présentées tout au long du festival dans l’espace public du conservatoire, hors du cadre traditionnel de la salle de concert et avec une écoute sous casque.

Dans cet esprit, la compagnie Alcôme, organisatrice du festival, lance un appel à candidatures pour des œuvres audiovisuelles et sonores. L'objectif est non seulement d'enrichir la programmation du festival en faisant découvrir le travail d'artistes internationaux, mais aussi de promouvoir une interaction plus directe entre l'art numérique et le public à travers une exposition en continu.

• Critères de participation :

  1. Les participants doivent garantir l’originalité de leur œuvre et du matériel soumis. En soumettant une œuvre, l’artiste déclare que celle-ci ne viole aucun droit d’auteur, marque déposée ou autre propriété intellectuelle.

  2. Le contenu et le style des œuvres sont libres ; toutes les formes d'expression audiovisuelle sont encouragées.

  3. Étant donné que les œuvres seront diffusées dans le hall du conservatoire, elles doivent être adaptées à un jeune public, y compris les enfants.

Ondes Croisées Festival 2024 | Call for Audiovisual Works

The Ondes Croisées Festival 2024 will take place from November 7th to 9th at the Conservatoire du Grand Chalon and LaPéniche in Chalon-Sur-Saône, France.
The festival celebrates the diversity of electroacoustic music and sound art, centered around the Acousmonium (an orchestra of loudspeakers). The program will feature a variety of forms, including acousmatic music, mixed music, cine-concerts, live improvisation, and electronic music. As part of this event, we will offer a dedicated space for audiovisual works, which will be continuously showcased in the public areas of the conservatory, breaking away from the traditional concert hall format, with headphone-based listening.

In this context, the festival's organizing company, Alcôme, is launching a call for audiovisual and sound works. The aim is to enrich the festival’s program by featuring international artists and fostering more direct interaction between digital art and the public through continuous exhibition.

  3. Since the works will be exhibited in the conservatory’s public hall, they should be suitable for all audiences, including children.
